"ZTRA FLAG" TEE
The ZTRA Flag tee is inspired by the vintage University of Maryland logo. When I was growing up, my father was an alumni of UMD and would always wear old shirts around the house. When I first started designing clothes in high school, one of my first designs was a flip on the UMD logo and this piece pays homage to both my upbringing and the early stages of my creative career. This piece features a new design with a red/black/green American flag, waving over a black Z, highlighted in light blue.

“IMITATES LIFE” IS A COLLECTION OF ARTWORK, CLOTHING,
FURNITURE, & FIGURES inspired by the idea of connecting
my physical world with the world that I was creating.
My goal in making this collection was to learn new skills as an artist, that I could introduce as apart of my creatives process, and create pieces that provoked thought in their conception and meaning.
“De’ HOMIES” as a phrase has always been a metaphor for community. While working on this collection i wanted to expand on the lore of “de’ homies” as characters, and further connect them to the real world that they are apart of...
Real art matters to me. real artists and community matter to me.
